Why is this discontinued?
Hoshizaki retires a model when it is superseded, or when the parts it depends on stop being produced. Once that happens it is no longer built or stocked by Hoshizaki or any dealer, ourselves included.

Can I still get parts for my machine?
Sometimes. Parts for retired models get scarce and more expensive, and eventually stop existing. Call with your model number and we will tell you honestly what is still available.
Why replace rather than repair?
A current machine makes more ice per kilowatt-hour, uses less water, and arrives with a full factory warranty. A retired unit has no coverage left and no way to get any.
