Is the newer model a direct swap?
It is the model Hoshizaki lists as the successor, so it does the same job at a comparable ice output. Footprint, electrical supply and water connections can still differ between generations - call us with your install and we will check it against the new unit before you order.
Can I still buy this one?
Only while our remaining stock lasts. Once it is gone it is not restocked, and parts for a retired model get scarcer and more expensive from that point on.
What happens to my warranty and parts?
The newer model ships with a full factory warranty and a parts supply that is not winding down. That is the practical difference between the two, more than the ice output is.

The F-2001MRH-C is capable of producing approximately 1715 lbs of cubelet ice per day. Cubelet ice is the most popular ice for drinks – as it cools the beverage quickly and absorbs the flavor making an easy-to-chew treat. This Remote-cooled with URC-22F (Sold Separately) ice maker features the Advanced CleanCycle24™ design plus a greaseless bearing auger construction making it simple to maintain. The F-2001MRH-C requires a Single phase, 208-230v/60/1 *3 wire with dedicated neutral for 115V electrical connection that is hard-wired at the installation site. Remote condenser sold separately. Compatible bins & dispensers, sold separately: B-250, B-500, B-700, B-800, B-900, B-1150, B-1300, B-1500, B-1650.
