Is the newer model a direct swap?
It is the model Hoshizaki lists as the successor, so it does the same job at a comparable ice output. Footprint, electrical supply and water connections can still differ between generations - call us with your install and we will check it against the new unit before you order.
Can I still buy this one?
Only while our remaining stock lasts. Once it is gone it is not restocked, and parts for a retired model get scarcer and more expensive from that point on.
What happens to my warranty and parts?
The newer model ships with a full factory warranty and a parts supply that is not winding down. That is the practical difference between the two, more than the ice output is.

The square cube shape melts very slowly, chilling beverages with very minimal dilution. This Air-cooled, Stackable ice maker features the EverCheck™ digital control system with LED display detects potential problems and notifies the operator before excessive maintenance or repair.
