Is the newer model a direct swap?
It is the model Hoshizaki lists as the successor, so it does the same job at a comparable ice output. Footprint, electrical supply and water connections can still differ between generations - call us with your install and we will check it against the new unit before you order.
Can I still buy this one?
Only while our remaining stock lasts. Once it is gone it is not restocked, and parts for a retired model get scarcer and more expensive from that point on.
What happens to my warranty and parts?
The newer model ships with a full factory warranty and a parts supply that is not winding down. That is the practical difference between the two, more than the ice output is.

Size on ice used per day, not on the old model number. Covers, drinks served and kitchen temperature all move the figure. Call us with what you run and we will work it out with you.

The SRK-10H, SRK Series Remote Condenser provides quiet, energy efficient operation that is designed to save money on energy costs and reduce excess heat in commercial kitchens. This Remote Condenser can be installed away from the ice maker using Brazing & Refrigerant Required (25′, 35′, 55′), tubing kits sold separately. Contact Tech Support if installations exceed these distances. The SRK-10H Remote Condenser operates on Single Phase, 208-230v/60/1, and R-404a refrigerant. The unit is ISO 9001:14001, UL Listed and includes a Three Years: Parts & Labor warranty on entire unit. / Five Years: Parts warranty on air-cooled condenser coil. Compatible ice makers, sold separately: KMS-822MLH.
