Why water quality matters
An ice machine turns incoming water into a consumable product. Sediment, hardness minerals, chlorine-related taste, and other local water conditions can affect ice quality and equipment performance. Water that is acceptable for drinking can still create scale or maintenance problems inside commercial equipment.
