Quick answer: A compact Hoshizaki ice machine can fit a small bar, office or service counter, but cabinet size alone does not establish suitability. Check the exact model's installation drawing, airflow, drainage, electrical requirements, daily production and storage capacity. Undercounter does not mean silent, and front ventilation must remain unobstructed.
Two compact models to compare
Hoshizaki lists the AM-50BAK for top-hat cubes and the C-80BAK for mini cubelet, or nugget-style, ice. Both are air-cooled, 115V/60Hz/single-phase machines with published cabinet dimensions of 14-7/8 inches wide, 22-5/8 inches deep and 33-1/2 inches high. Use the installation drawing to determine the finished opening and utility space; these cabinet measurements are not a complete installation allowance.
