A remote-cooled Hoshizaki system moves condenser heat and much of the refrigeration-system noise away from the occupied space. That can improve conditions in a kitchen, bar, hotel corridor, or guest-facing area, but the machine head still operates indoors and the return depends on the building, climate, operating schedule, installation, and maintenance.
Measure whether indoor heat rejection increases room temperature, affects staff comfort, adds HVAC load, or recirculates into the ice machine. Document when and where noise is disruptive. A remote system can address condenser heat and noise, but it does not eliminate harvest, water-fill, pump, fan, or ice-drop sounds from the indoor machine head.
Match the ice machine, remote condenser, line set, line size, equivalent length, elevation, refrigerant charge, electrical requirements,
